BACK TO FACT SHEETS

Depression is one of the most common medical conditions and affects the entire mind and body. Too often men will not seek treatment for depression believing it will improve in time. This may lead to suffering for the man, his family, work and other relationships, this suffering is unnecessary with the number of modern treatment approaches now available.

Cause

Symptoms

  • decrease in energy, sex drive, sleep, appetite and the ability to cope with life. Symptoms can occur during the day but are generally worse upon waking.
  • early morning waking from sleep

Treatments
